Shopska salad


Traditional Bulgarian salad with tomatoes, cucumbers and cheese

Shopska saladProducts:

(For 4 servings)
1 onion
3 red tomatoes
3-4 peppers
2 cucumbers
200 g cheese
cooking oil
parsley


Roasted peppers, peel, clear them from the seeds and cut them into retail. Add cucumbers and tomatoes, diced. Onion cut into crescents, sprinkle with some salt and crushed with your hands, then wash with water. Add to salad. Sprinkle with oil and slots and mix.
Salad is served sprinkled with crumbled cheese and parsley, chopped.
Traditionally drunk with rakia.
